Our company is focused on the maintenance and enhancement of its own forest properties, striving to fully utilize their benefits for our own gain, while also being aware of their ecological and social impact on the broader public. Another goal is the production of timber, as an important renewable resource, through sustainable forest management practices.

Logging activities

At Panství Bechyně, logging activities are carried out to ensure the healthy development of forest stands and a balanced representation of age classes. Various types of logging serve specific purposes. Silvicultural logging focuses on enhancing the stability, resilience, quality, and species diversity of younger forests, while regeneration logging aids in the timely initiation of natural forest renewal processes with more resilient, higher-quality, and more diverse successor forest stands in older forests.
